Ann Marie Hulver joins the University of Chicago as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Climate Systems Engineering initiative (CSEi). Her research will be in collaboration with Dr. Dakota McCoy in the Department of Ecology and Evolution to determine the effect that Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement has on coral reefs, the most vulnerable ecosystem in the oceans.

Prior to joining CSEi, Ann Marie received her PhD from The Ohio State University where she studied the physiological effects of climate change on temperate and tropical corals. In her first postdoctoral research position, she helped create and test new technologies to help with coral reef restoration and conservation.
