CSEi Research Spotlight: Pete Irvine

Pete Irvine, Research Assistant Professor at UChicago, and Editorial Director of SRM360.org, discusses his work at CSEi. Irvine's research focuses on stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), a proposed approach to cooling the planet by releasing tiny reflective particles into the upper atmosphere to bounce a small fraction of sunlight back into space. In this video, Pete explains why research into SAI matters and how it could help counter some of the effects of climate change.
