Alicia Karspeck, Ph.D., is co-founder and CTO of [C]Worthy, a nonprofit research organization developing open-source software to model ocean-based carbon dioxide removal. She previously led scientific teams in government, industry, and academia—including roles at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and climate-risk startups—bringing deep expertise in ocean modeling, data assimilation, and climate applications. Alicia is currently the chair of the NOAA Climate Working Group. She frequently speaks on marine CDR and trust in climate markets.
